The Francis Scott Key Bridge

I’ve made a small handful of friends who have flown here from a mix of places in the world.

Chloe, from just outside of Paris, France, took me under her wing and invited me to spend time with her and her friends.

Mara, who is from a smallish town in Italy, and I have similar backgrounds. It’s nice to have company like that.

Some of the metro stations are far under ground and the escalators are long. Some of the spaces in the city are special.

Walking to Georgetown with my host family from the Rosslyn Metro Station took us across the Key Bridge and it was impressive.
