It’s Mine Now at The Vintage Experience market

A few weeks ago we decided to take part in the Vintage Experience market that is held at Truth (incredible coffee, amazing croissants) every month as It’s Mine Now.

Just thought I’d share some of the pics that our in-house photographer took while we “manned” our stall as well as a few points I discovered about our little business.

Markets are always fun for us because most of the time we deal with our customers via inbox messages on Facebook or through emails and sms. It was also an eye-opener for us in terms of stock and revenue – we take our time with each item we source; washing it, deciding on the right look for it and then finding the right locations and time to shoot it. This means that for every sale we usually make, it usually takes a good few weeks to “see the money” from the moment we’ve touched the item for the first time.

Markets are a whole different ball game – it’s difficult to display your items in a way that’s inventive, but the sales are so much faster!

But of course there’s no complaining here: we started It’s Mine Now as a passion project and are lucky enough to continue it as such.

If you haven’t checked us out yet please do and let me know what you think!
